Suspect On Loose After Robbery At Long Island Market

Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery that occurred at a business on Long Island.

A man entered Bolla Market, located at 2664 Route 112 in Medford, displayed what appeared to be a handgun, and demanded cash from an employee at the counter at approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, Suffolk County Police said,

The employee complied and the man took the cash, as well as cigarettes, and fled the scene on foot, according to police.

The suspect is described as being black, 5-foot-9 inches to 6-feet tall with a thin build, wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, black sneakers, a black baseball hat and a mask covering his face and nose. He was carrying a black drawstring bag.
